Some Facts about Stretton
Location & Facilities
Stretton lies to the East of the A1, 13 miles South of Grantham and 8 miles North of Stamford
The village has 3 parts, the main village, Stretton Woods houses which lies 1 mile to the North of the village and Stocken, which is a further 3/4 mile north. Stocken comprises apartments in Stocken Hall, Mews houses and Stocken Farm with various dwellings. See the OS map to the right.
The village has a pub, The Jackson Stops (it was called The White Horse, but some time in the last century it was for sale for so long with a Jackson Stops Estate Agent sign up that the name stuck!) The Jackson Stops is open every day except Mondays and serves food.
Stretton has a church, St Nicholas, which lies on the Southern edge of the village. Click for more info

On the same site as the Petrol Station, there is also a Service/Repairs garage, Greetham Garage.
